This Privacy Policy explains how ESG Scoring ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use the app, we collect:

• Account information: your name, email address, and student ID.
• Profile information: your school and an optional profile photo (avatar) that you choose to upload.
• Activity data: the events and projects you join, your quiz answers, your points balance, and your purchase history within the app.
• Content you create: if you are an organizer, the events and projects you publish, including any images you attach.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or any data for advertising purposes. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Let you join events, earn and spend points, and play the daily quiz.
• Display leaderboards and your activity history.
• Verify event attendance and process in-app point transactions.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Limited information is visible to other users as part of normal app functionality:

• Your name, student ID, avatar, and points may appear on the public leaderboard.
• Organizers can see the name and student ID of users who register for their events.
• Shop owners can see the name of users who make a purchase in their shop.

We may share information with service providers who host our backend infrastructure, solely to operate the app, and when required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard measures, including encrypted authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

ESG Scoring is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, and request deletion of your account and data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by emailing us at alihankassiman@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
